The role involves

We currently seek to recruit ERIKS UK has a new opening for a Stores Expeditor within Integrated Solutions based on site UPM Caledonian in Ayrshire.

This is a key role with Integrated Solutions with prime responsibility to provide a high level of customer service to store users through efficient management of issues and receipts into the stores.

What the role involves:

  • Assist in identification of store users' requirements and, where possible, issue these from stock.
  • Maintain concise and current stock records by accurately updating systems and, where required, written records with issue and receipt information.
  • Perform and record any required stock checks promptly and accurately.
  • Liaise with team members and management with regards customers' comments, stock availability and overdue/outstanding orders and, where appropriate, provide feedback to store users.
  • Contribute to site operational efficiency by identifying potential improvements to ERIKS/customer processes.
  • Operate at all times in a manner that complies with ERIKS and Customer Health & Safety policy and report all cases of non-conformance to site management.
  • Establish, maintain and develop effective working relationships, both with store users and ERIKS team.
About You
  • Minimum of 1 years work experience in a commercial, distribution or industrial environment.
  • Slinging and Lifting Experience.
  • Experience of SAP and Kerridge ERP systems.
  • Communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Knowledge of Stock Management principles and systems.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver management information within required deadlines.
  • Knowledge of some or all categories of Maintenance, Repair and Operational product and service range.

Required qualifications:

  • Grade A* - C GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics.
  • Higher Education in Business Commercial Management or Engineering is preferred.
  • FLT Experience preferable
