The role involves

We currently seek to recruit two Purchasing Administrators within Transactional Procurement based in Bitteswell.

This is a key role with prime responsibility to support the Transactional Procurement Team with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, processing purchase card orders and payments, placing branch orders, statement consolidation and financial reporting.

What the role involves:

  • Raising orders and making purchasing card payments as necessary.
  • Recording purchasing card payments.
  • Validating card payments against the monthly statement.
  • Raising branch back-to-back orders and placing with suppliers.
  • Communicating order confirmations to branches.
  • Resolving branch queries.
  • Updating and maintaining central spreadsheets.
  • You are responsible for your health & Safety and have a duty of care for others around you within your working environment.
  • Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment.
About You
  • Minimum of 1 year administration experience
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Experienced user of sales order systems
  • Communication and inter-personal
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of ERIKS Stock system / GUI
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Ability to prepare and deliver management information within required deadlines

Required qualifications:

  • Grade A* - C GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics.
